Welcome to the Palmyra School District’s website. We, at Palmyra, are proud of our community, schools, and students. We are proud of who we are and of what we will become.

Today’s society is one full of change and countless pitfalls for our young people. This is why I truly believe that “Education Takes Teamwork.” We all need to work together to give our young people the best opportunity to fulfill their potential and accomplish their goals. We welcome, and need, your support and assistance as we work together with our students.

The Palmyra Board of Education has set the following goals for the 2011-2012 school year -

Palmyra District Goals for 2011-2012

1.     To improve student achievement as evidenced by an increase in test scores through improved student engagement utilizing technology and enhanced articulation.

2.     To continue fiscal responsibility with internal controls and structure.

3.     To improve communications both internally and externally.

As we work towards accomplishing these goals, we look forward to working with you. All of us must put forth our best effort and put students first as we prepare the young people of the Palmyra School District for the opportunities of the future.
